Repairs, without the calls
A repair reserve of CHF 1,000 is held for your apartment. Scala fixes anything up to that amount and shows it on your statement; the reserve is topped up from the next payout. Only a repair above CHF 1,000 gets one message to you: yes or no.
Direct bookings pay you more
Every stay booked through our own website carries no platform commission. We push repeat guests there; each such booking adds about 15% to your payout.

Price basis and worked exampleThe basis is the price of the nights.
We only count the money guests pay for the nights. Cleaning, tourist tax and deposits do not count. Refunds to guests do not count either. Booking-platform commissions are passed through at cost, typically 15%. Nothing is marked up. Bookings through our own website carry no commission.
CHF 60,000 in one winter season leaves CHF 38,028 for you.
An example: in one winter season guests pay CHF 60,000 for the nights. Of that, CHF 12,000 goes to us, CHF 972 is VAT on our fee and CHF 9,000 goes to the booking platforms as commission. CHF 38,028 stays with you. Repairs from the repair reserve are deducted from that. The example is not a guaranteed profit.
Repairs, without the calls.
We hold a repair reserve of CHF 1,000 for your apartment. Up to that amount we fix damage straight away and show it on your statement. The reserve is topped up from the next payout. Only a repair above CHF 1,000 gets one message to you: yes or no.
Set up once, then based on income.
For each apartment you pay the setup once: CHF 1,190. It covers the photos, the listings on the booking platforms and on our website, the seasonal pricing calendar, the digital guest guide with house rules, a guest assistant that knows your apartment and answers around the clock, a key box or smart lock installed and tested, tourist-tax and guest registration set up with the municipality, and the cleaning partner briefed with a first inspection. If your apartment is not booked, you pay no recurring fee.
